Facebook Login Data

BarQuest uses Facebook Login to help users connect with friends who are also using the app. We collect basic Facebook profile information (name, profile picture, and friend list) through this feature, and only use it to enhance the in-app experience — for example, suggesting friends who already use BarQuest. We do not share, sell, or license this Facebook-sourced data to any third party, in accordance with Facebook Platform policies.

Other Information We Collect

Separately from Facebook, we collect information you provide directly or generate by using the app, including:

We use this information to operate and improve BarQuest, personalize your experience, and communicate with you (including push notifications you've opted into).

We may also share, license, or sell this information — in aggregated, de-identified, or individual form — to business partners, advertisers, analytics providers, or other third parties, now or in the future. This does not include the Facebook-sourced data described above, which is never sold or shared.

Your Choices

You can request a copy of your data, opt out of having your information shared or sold, or request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us (see below). California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information; contact us to exercise these rights.

Data Security

All collected data is stored securely and retained only as long as needed to provide the app's features or as required by law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as BarQuest grows. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do; material changes will be communicated in-app or by email where required by law.
